Actually we are soon going to delete the matlab/parallel/ folder, and replace it by the following submodule: https://gitlab.com/dragonflytool/dragonfly (which is essentially the same code, maintained independently by @rattoma and his colleagues). See #1675. This is a goal for 4.7.

So I think it would be better to first have the problem fixed in that repository.

@sebastien From what I can see, the problem is not present in Dragonfly. We would still need this fix for the next bugfix-release.
