Make it possible to set identification options directly into structure options_ident
I have a rather minor (and not so important) request. Namely, I would like to specify options for the identification command directly in the mod file using the structure options_ident = struct();
. That is, if I write for instance in a mod file:
options_ident.analytic_derivation_mode = -1;
options_ident.lik_init = 1;
options_ident.advanced = 0;
identification;
then the corresponding output in the driver.m is:
options_ident.analytic_derivation_mode = -1;
options_ident.lik_init = 1;
options_ident = struct();
dynare_identification(options_ident);
overwrites my options. This would be handy, as some options cannot be set by calling e.g. identification(analytic_derivation_mod=-1), whereas identification(advanced=1) is of course possible. Is it possible to include a check, i.e. options_ident = struct();
is only written if options_ident
is not empty? Would this be possible? If not then you can simply close this issue ;-)
