In dynare!2041 (merged), your changes to the reference manual seem to imply that mh_init_scale_factor replaces mh_init_scale. But in the present MR the two now coexist on the preprocessor side. Can you please clarify?

The Matlab side now provides a warning that the option is deprecated if the old mh_init_scale is used. That preserves backward compatibility. But I would not mention it in the manual anymore for that reason.

Several deprecated commands/options are mentioned in the reference manual (you can do a text search on the word “deprecated”). I think the deprecated option should remain there, for consistency with previous practice, and so that old .mod files remain intelligible. I am going to merge the preprecessor MR. Please include the preprocessor update in your MR against dynare.git, along with the reference manual update.
